Hi all, this group looks like a lot of fun - too bad I haven't found it earlier. I'm a mechanical engineer living in Greenville but originally from Germany. I look forward to meeting some new like-minded people!
What outdoor activities are you interested in?
Hiking, tubing, skiing, zip lines, whatever!
What's your favorite place you've been?
That would have to be Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. Whitewater rafting the Zambezi in the morning, riding an African elephant that afternoon, and enjoying authentic local fare & entertainment that night, would have to be one of the best days of my life.
What's the most adventurous thing you've done?
4x4-ing up a steep unknown unmarked rocky road in Costa Rica.
What's your favorite place to 'get away from it all'?
