Hi, I live in the Charleston area but visit the upstate at least once a month.

I can't pick just one. There are so many beautiful places.

Sailed from Hawaii to California.

Happy Birthday! Wish I could make the paddle today but Christmas has me by the throat. My son's birthday is tomorrow and it always gets eclipsed by the holidays. Things like parturtion are so hard to plan when you are just a blastocyte stumbling around in a dark womb...

Hi Tara, welcome to WNC Kayaking. We have some nice calm rivers and a few lakes that are beautiful in the fall when the leaves are changing. In fact we have a trip on the French Broad that goes past the Biltmore House on October 16th - the leaves should be beautiful. Hope to see you on the water soon.
